Day 39: Frog

Day 38: Sun Sun Sun

So I didn't actually take my camera to the Zion, but my family and Spencer tubed the Zion  River. If you haven't ever done it I suggest you do. Spence had fun with my camera. This is my new polka-dot tankini.

Day 37: Home

It may not be the prettiest view, but it's a place to call home... and I love it.
Minus the hay in the field next to my house. Makes my allergies go nutso.

"The ache for home lives in all of us,
the safe place where we can go
as we are and not be questioned."-Maya Angelou

Day 36: BH&G

Spencer Whitman Sardoni reads Better Homes and Garden Magazine. He loves it actually. He also watches the DIY channel and the Food Network. Sweet, right?

I think it's supposed to be a secret, but I'm just going to tell the world.

Day 35: Wake Me Up Before You Go Go

The day I got home my parents had to go back up to Salt Lake. My grandpa Halladay has been in the ICU at the U of U hospital. It was pretty scary for awhile, but I think he should be alright.

Meanwhile, my little bro was gone as well, so that left me in charge of my soon-to-be eight year old sister and my golden lab, Molly for four days.

Those four days consisted of:
* Princess Diaries 1 and 2.
* Countless episodes of iCarly.
*Our extended family feeding us every meal.
and best of all.
*Me waking up to a little girl snuggled up next to me and a dog at my feet. :)

Day 34: Bleu Cheese

Actually.
Blue shoes.
They are actually irrelevant to my life at the moment, but they are new and I like them.

Day 33: Collection

So, as of late, I have decided to collect tea pots.

When I took interior design, (curse that class) I would often try to image what my future home will look like. I decided I want a shelf in my kitchen with tea pots that I have collected. I actually have a lot so far.

My friend Stetson, who is currently serving an LDS mission in CA, made me the sweetest purple-ish teapot for Christmas. I also got one for my birthday when I was eleven. It's orange. My grandparents just returned from China and brought me an oriental one for graduation. The other day my grandma went through all her old stuff and gave me like six. One of which was my great-grandmothers.

Needless to say, I've got a pretty good collection going on. This funky green one is definitely my fav.

Day 32: New Room.

Well, new to me.
Before I left for college I only got to sleep in my new room for ten days. So coming home is weird, because I'm not actually used to this bedroom. Don't get me wrong, it's a great room, I just need to adjust to it.

I have my nice spacious bed.

A lot of room to move around. It's like twice the size of my last two bedrooms.

Annnnnnd

A semi walk-in closet.
(please ignore the mess)

oh, and cheeeck out this sweet vintage camera

It's good to be home. :)

Day 31: Miles

Ok. Remember him? My sweet missionary friend who left like… A month ago. Yeah. Well, being the great friend that I am, I have yet to write him a letter. It's just so hard. Especially when I'm really busy and there are so many of my friends on missions now, I make excuses so that I don't have to write ten thousand letters and get carpal tunnel in my right hand. I caved though. I wrote him a letter and mailed him a tie.

Wanna know why?

My good friend Jessica wood sent me a text saying, "From Elder Brooks: Proverbs 25:25" She said she was instructed to send me that text immediately after reading it. As I found my good ol' scriptures and looked it up, this is what it had to say,

"As cold water to a thirsty soul,
so is good news from a far land."

I had to laugh. Any missionary who would take the time to send me that scripture definitely deserves a letter. Not that I'm good at letter writing. Trust me, I'm not.

Day 30: Stuff.

I have a lot of stuff.
Why did I bring it all to college?
Who knows.

My mom helped me clean and pack my car up to leave for two weeks. What a peach. We had a hard time fitting everything into my little Ford Focus. But somehow we figured it out. It was so full that we couldn't even see through the rear view mirror. It was quite the adventure home, let me tell you. Good thing we dropped most of it off at a friends house in Santaquin. I don't know if I could've made it.

Day 29: The Last Supper

Is that a bit sacrilegious? If so, please don't take it offensively.

Is it bad that I'm always thinking about what my next meal is going to be? I'm not going to lie, I like good food. Corinne and I decided that there was no better way to end the semester than eating at Costa Vida.

That was a good decision.

Day 28: No Shower for me!

There are some very lucky people in this world that can skip a day of showering and look completely normal. I however, can not. If I shower in the morning, I usually have greasy hair by the end of the night. So, if you ever see my hair pulled up in a crazy bun, it means that I was in too big of a hurry to shower, and I had to throw it up. What a shame.

Also,

I kinda miss my little Wyview Apartment. Building 25 served me well. I do not miss how freeeeeeezing it was inside. Holy Hannah Montana I froze my buns off in that place. Permanent cold chills for sure.

Day 27: Sweet Tooth

I made a little trip to the best little bakery on earth.

take a gander.

Day 26: No I did not die

I was warned that finals week was going to be tough. Well, no surprise there,

I lived off of ice and sprouts…
and I basically camped out on the couch.

It wasn't too terribly bad, but I'm glad its over. Now eight or more of those weeks to go.

Day 23: What the Wednesday?

K so flip. Weirdest day ever…
If you click

that girl can explain what went down a lot better than I can.

Other than that. Rain, and visiting Brittany Lynn at Brick Oven was quite the treaattt.

I love BYU :)

OH… Just a night on the town. To visit Brit and order salads.

"I'm Glad You're Here!
